Coach Dan

Coach Dan Speaks:

Basketball dribbling drills and techniques are necessary to perfecting the skill of basketball. One concept that should not be overlooked is performing a right hand in front than left hand in front over the cone drill. This basketball drill helps players work on side to side control and movement, as well as accuracy in their basketball dribbling. To perform this basketball drill, start with your dominant hand first, keeping your palm either on the top or side of the ball and use it to bring the basketball back and forth through the cones 15 times. Repeat with your less dominant hand until you have gone through the cones 15 times with each of them. With repetition, you will gain confidence in your basketball skills and see major improvements when dribbling down the court.
