This basketball drill tests your ability to dribble, make a power stop, and perform a pump fake. Start by putting one minute on the clock, beginning at the key. You can use no more than two dribbles before pushing off with one foot and stopping both feet on the court simultaneously. Keep your inside shoulder towards the defender in order to protect your ball. Utilize a pump fake for breaking free from a defender and then switch directions after every shot in order to avoid becoming predictable. Aim to score nine or ten baskets during this drill. You can increase the difficulty of the drill by gradually decreasing the time limit as your basketball skill set develops.
