Putting basketball shooting drills into practice is an essential part of a basketball regime, and hop downs with a quick pick up are a great way to get into optimal form. The drill starts at a distance of 10 feet away from the basketball hoop. Get the ball in your weak hand, with the opposite foot back and ready. Hop down while getting both feet and arms into a shooting position, and then shoot the ball. Do this five times before switching hands, allowing yourself to become accustomed to using both sides of the court.
