Basketball practice often contains endless drills to perfect basketball fundamentals. One drill basketball players can do on their own is the basic curls drill, which starts 10-15 feet away from the basket while facing the sideline. To begin, flick a basketball to yourself, as if it were a pass, and make sure your inside foot curves around on the catch. After catching the ball and curling your inside foot, immediately shoot the basketball into the basket. Repeat this motion five times before switching sides of the court. This drill helps basketball players refine their form in shooting and dribbling situations without having any other people around to help them out.
