Coach Dan

Coach Dan Speaks:

A great basketball drill for improving accuracy when shooting is the Band Strengthening Movement. To do this exercise, wrap a resistance band around your ankle and hold it towards the opposite shoulder around your mid-body. Then slowly move your foot, alternating between inversion and eversion positions. This exercise focuses on strengthening the muscles on the outside of the leg and hip, which play an important role in basketball movements such as jumping, landing, running and shooting. Incorporate this into your basketball drills routine to improve your shooting accuracy!
