This basketball drill, known as the Ray Allen Drill, focuses on shooting accuracy and footwork. It works best with two people and can improve basketball skills incredibly. To complete this drill, start on the short wing with a basketball and shoot your shot at the hoop. When you miss, rebound the ball, self-pass/flick it to the same spot on the other side of the court and continue shooting until you have 7 points - adding 1 point for every make, subtracting 2 for each miss. As you move around deciding which shots to take, any footwork-jump stop/curls/pivots can be used to reach an open shot or create space from defenders to help find a successful shot.
