  • Start in the square position, take off one foot into a power skip fluid movement using your off foot knee to push your body up into the air.
  • Focus on driving your knee up into the air and flow right into the next step.
  • Maintain a good form and balance.
    Go for 3 sets, 12 reps each.
    Rest for 1-2 mins between each set.

Getting an extra edge on the basketball court is all about getting that vertical leap! To accomplish this, try power skips: start in the square position with both feet planted firmly on the ground. Explode off one foot and use your knee to drive your body into the air, focusing on going as high as possible. Make sure to maintain good posture and balance throughout for full effectiveness. Following this drill for three sets of twelve reps, taking 1-2 minutes of rest between each set, is an excellent way to gain those additional inches and move up the ladder in basketball!
