Coach Dan

Coach Dan Speaks:

Basketball drills are an important part of basketball practice and they can help to improve a basketball player’s dribbling technique. The Diagonal Shuffles drill is a great way to develop both linear speed and lateral agility. To do this drill, simply place two cones at half a step length apart then stand on either side. Face the cones and perform two shuffles right-middle, right. Once complete, you’ll need to shuffle back in the same motion for the best effect. With practice, basketball players will be able to improve their jump stop and pivoting movements with ease.
