Coach Dan

Coach Dan Speaks:

It is important for basketball players to get comfortable shooting from close range, and one way of doing that is by 1 handed form shooting. Standing 5-6 feet away from the basket, basketball players can use this drill to hone their ability to make shots up close. This drill also allows basketball players to become more aware of every little component of their form shooting, such as their finger placement on the basketball and the angle of their hand when they shoot. As you keep practicing this exercise, you should feel more comfortable with shooting close up attempts.
